Avakaya Biryani starts with the first frame in a village back droplike a typical Shekhar Kammula movie. Akbar (Kamal Kamaraju) is theonly auto driver of a 7 seater auto in a remote village. He is a paperboy of the village in the early mornings and transforms as an autodriver in the day. He is a Muslim with very broad minded thoughts.Though he is an orphan, he grows up with utmost qualities and ethicsand grows up with some secular thoughts.Akbar is constantly pestered by a Muslim leader Babar who is triesto poison the mind of Akbar with some religion related thoughts. ButAkbar never deviates from his original principles and so is a wellnatured guy at heart.Akbar has his friends who are dearer to him in all manners and considers Masterjee (Rao Ramesh) as his mentor.Then the twist in Avakaya Biryani takes place as the heroine entersthe life of the hero. A Brahmin family visits the village and residesin the village from then on. It is discovered by Akbar that the familyis settling in the village and to earn a living they desire to open upa Tiffin center in the village.Moreover, to gain some more earnings the Brahmin family plans tosell pickles in the nearby towns and village and the family head, whois an orthodox minded character, hands over the marketing business ofthe pickles to his wise daughter Laxmi (Bindu)With no other option for transportation, Laxmi has to travel to inAkbar’s auto. After few sweet incidents the hero and the heroine fallin love.
